Decorative Panels - Particleboard and MDF
We manufacture and distribute a premium range of decorative particleboard and MDF products (in a wide range of thickness and sizes) designed to meet the evolving needs of architects, designers, cabinetmakers, and joiners across Australia. Our decorative panels combine functionality, durability, and design versatility, offering superior surfaces for interior joinery, cabinetry, and commercial fit-outs.
Rough Sawn Green Timber (RSG)
RSG is the first stage product produced in the saw milling process. The precision Hewsaw cutting profile produces a high quality product with a very smooth finish, ideal for use in treating applications that manufacture products for the landscaping industry and pallet and box industry.
Rough Sawn Green, can also be called GOS (Green off Saw) simply meaning the timber has a high moisture content from when it was logged, and does not go through either an air drying or kiln drying process. Companies that provide Termite Treatment e.g. CCA or the Green treated timber, is what is more commonly seen in retaining walls, or where vermin are a problem.

Environmental Commitment
For many years we have held a deep commitment to maintaining efficient manufacturing processes that align with our objective to maximise the recovery of pre-consumer waste throughout the manufacturing process, from saw milling pine timber to board manufacture and melamine laminating.
ForestOne's Benalla site was the first particleboard manufacturer in Australia to commission post-consumer wood recycling technology to turn widespread metropolitan wood waste into a usable resource for high-end products. Through our sawmill we also currently recycle over 100,000 tonnes of post-industrial wet wood per annum - that’s more than 2,000 full semi loads of wood product that won't go into landfill.
In addition our fresh wood-fibre is sourced from PEFC certified plantations. A practice which supports sustainable management of plantation pine.
Community Initiatives
ForestOne proudly manufactures out of its Benalla site, located approximately 200km from Melbourne CBD. This site is workplace to more than 150 staff in full time, part time, casual, and apprenticeship roles. ForestOne supports its apprentices by providing educational assistance with 100% of TAFE fees paid.
Understanding and tailoring our hiring process to the local needs of the Benalla community is vital to sourcing the best people.
ForestOne hires through social media outreach and community networks such as local sporting teams, All Blacks Football Club and The Saints Football Club. Growth for ForestOne means investment back into our workforce and the wider community.
